The cours intends to offer an introduction to the philosophy of physics, from Aristotle to Newton, from the theory of relativity to quantum mechanics. At the end of the course, students should be able to orient themselves into the historical an theoretical development of the subject: they should be able also to illustrate the discontinuities among paradigms and the consequences involved in contemporary physical theories, as well as their fundamental interpretations.
