The course offers a general survey of the relationships between law, culture, economy and society along the western history, since the late antiquity to the 19th Century.

Please, see the list in Italian. As all the texts are in Italian, you should be able to read and understand it. If you are not, do not try to take this exam.

Provide students with a perspective of Medieval and Modern legal-political thought, through the study of rules, legal treatises and legislation developed in Europe until the experience of the codifications.
