The software defined radio (sdr) technology as well as the open standards will provide a dramatic cost reduction and a proliferation of wireless radio-applications for every aspect of our modern life. The course aims to provide students with advanced signal processing in the field of software radio. In particular, during the course the student will learn to connect the different blocks of a complex system in a single set of integrated and interdependent processes. In addition, the course will provide an overview of some telecommunications systems, briefly describing the radio key-concepts.
